Welcome to BYC. There are a lot of folks from NC raising chickens. I just got back into it myself with 6 RIR's I picked up on Feb 13th. I forgot how quikly they grow. My family loves feeding them treats more than the chickens like getting them and we all enjoy watching them run around the backyard.

Hey I know this is may be a dumb question but do you train them to stay near the house and come back at night or do they do that on their own?
