Hey y'all! I'm super excited to be able to talk chickens with people who are just as happy about it as I am! I just started with my chickens in June so I really am new at it. I have5 hens and a rooster and I am hoping to get a couple more girls soon. My rooster is a young barred rock named Bellabob and he is super cute. I have 1 RIR named Robin and a golden comet named Ginger. I have 2 EE named Roxy and Zoey, and a mixed girl named Penny. I have just recently acquired a baby duck and 2 chicks who I am finally going to try and introduce them to the girls and Bellabob. Fingers crossed that it will work out well!

When introducing strange birds to a flock, they should be as large as the birds in the established flock. The social order of chickens is quite brutal to newcomers.
