Hey everyone im pretty new to the BYC but I am in total love with this site!! It has helped me alot with the 14 chicks that I currently have 6 RIR Pullets and 8 different bantams. Little about me.. I just graduated college with a Associates in Environmental Health and Safety. Yes I am the dreaded Safety Woman lol. I have 2 dogs Leroy who thinks everything is a dog, cow or chicken it is a dog and is supposed to be his friend. He guards my chickens from any predator, but I am sure it wouldnt take much to get passed him, my other is a pup that I have been bottle feeding since he was a week and a half and is not 5 weeks and HUGE. I am so proud. But my pride and joy is my son. He is about to be one and absolutly loves being outside with me playing with the chickens!! I am hoping to eventually start raising Showgirls, Silkies, and Polish. Waiting on my shipment from Cackle to get here. Doing a little "chicken trading" for my first Showgirls tomorrow. I am excited to able to share my expeirences and learn from others on here!!!
