Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Steak pizza .... leftover steak sliced paper thin, caramelized onions, steak sauce (homemade) and a blend of cheeses. Baked in the house oven, not the "beast" in the backyard.

Aneesa's Muse Baked Mac and Cheese sounds yummy! I haven't done that in a while.

MenagerieMama that sounds fantastic!

Ams thats some quick thinking! I have done that too. That is the 1 thing we always have in our freezer. I always say as long as I have burger and pasta or rice I can make supper!

I was going to do the left over prime rib(see earlier post) but DH just called to say he wouldn't be home until 9:30 and DS has decided to stay in town with a friend. So I will just do something for me I guess!!

Sounds like most had great Mothers Day meals. It's always nice to have someone cook for us. Hopefully, clean up, too.

Today we had Pepper Steak over rice, applesauce and the rest of the cheesecake.

That's too bad that it doesn't work with your dietary requirements. Darn!

I pretty much ate bad all day - a French dip at Disneyland and then fast food Mexican afterwards. My kids got to participate in a really cool music program there today.

Barnyard Buddies, french dip and fast food Mexican sure sounds good. And, you didn't have to clean up!

Another chaotic day here so an easy meal was all I could do.
Goulash (or Chili Mac) and cornbread. Quick and good. Plus, there's leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

BB - what a wonderful experience for your kids! I've always loved Disney for encouraging young imaginations and talents.

An emergency trip to the vet with our young cat (she tore the ligament holding her kneecap in place) has left me "nursing" (and carrying her) most of the day. We'll know in a week if she needs surgery. The vet thinks she should be ok with rest.

It makes me wonder how you can accomplish so much while caring for all your needy critters Aneesa.

So like prairiegirl, it was a quick meal tonight. Ham and cheese omelettes with bell peppers and onions.

Guess great minds were thinking alike prairiegirl and happyhen! Tuesdays are crazy days here so it was an easy dinner night - goulash, salad, and garlic bread.

I hope your little kitty heals well without surgery, happyhen! Poor baby!

Angus beef roast in the crock pot with carrots and potatoes. Covered with Balsamic Vinegar, honey pepper and rosemerry. With biscuits and gravy from the roast. Delish, was on low all day and very tender.

pinto beans, fried taters, poke patties, cornbread, saurkraut and weiners that was todays meal here. not much to brag about on my part
