Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

well i was going to be lazy again today. but my daughter insisted on meatloaf for dinner instead of chicken stir fry. so we will have meatloaf and slow cooked green beans and potatoes. at least I'll have meatloaf sandwiches for a day or two for lunch.

Fresh fried squash (grew them myself).
Fresh green beans with bacon (grew these too)
Mashed potatoes, oven baked chicken breast coat with French fried onions.
Fresh sliced tomatoes ( grew these also).

I took some meat out of the freezer and didn't look very closely at it. I thought it was chunks of pork when I saw it the other day but when I got it out, I thought it was chicken and I was going to make chicken/rice/mushroom soup. When I went in to start fixing dinner, it was pork neck bones. Must have been something my husband bought. I don't know what he was going to make with them but they are now the main ingredient in vegetable pork soup. Smells wonderful and I will be having some soon.

That should be a nice rich soup!

We had thin cut breaded pork chops, short grain whole rice, steamed broccoli and sourdough bread. I am making Michael Nankins Pressure cooked chocolate bread pudding for desert.
