We were supposed to have Clean Out the Leftovers Night, but Honey stopped at the ponds again and came home with some lovely trout. Leftovers might wind up going to the chickens soon.

We had cabbage rolls which my husband has been asking me to make for a long time, they are comfort food for him from his childhood. No way did mine match up to his Mother's...

I think they are hard to make..very labor intensive.

Last night it was crock pot lamb stew.

Then today this was in the paper:

Haha. I would go mad without my slow cooker. Practically live off the thing.

Spaghetti and meatballs. Garlic bread. Watermelon.

Last night we had YOYO. Tonight we're going out to Chinese food per Sugar Monkey's request for his 8th grade graduation.

Went to grand daughter's school recital last night - ate wretched pizza.

Tonight I will make a T - bone steak with baked sweet potatoes, summer squash, and a tomato/lettuce salad.

We are having leak and potato soup, and chicken stir fry.

Tonight will be grilling burgers and dogs for Big Boy's friends as an end of school thing.
