Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Um we will be having guinea probably tomarrow. Got them waiting for final cleaning right now. lol
Need some goood recipes for it! Well, we have 9 so I'll try 9 different recipes....
Tonight is fish n chips and hush puppies.

You all are coming up with some great ideas. I wish we were all neighbors and we could share.

I'm cooking up a batch of split pea soup with ham, carrots, onions and celery. It's snowing out right now. Wish I had some yeast, I'd make a loaf of bread.

If you throw anything like I do, it will go about ten feet tops. lol

I have to walk into town and deliver some packages to the post office, I haven't trudged through the snow in a long time. Anyway, I'll check out little local market, they might have some yeast.

Panfried walleye at my mom's house. We cut a deal where I bring over the kids and we decorate her tree- if she cooks dinner for us

We have family friends who are native, and they spearfish walleye by the tons- freeze it and give it away. Sooooo nummmmy.

We went OUT last night, for a change--Japanese restaurant that's my favorite. We all had maki rolls (smoked salmon for the kiddo, tempura shrimp & crispy shrimp for hubby & me) and gyoza all 'round.

This is really something I should learn to do on my own.

Hee hee hee. It would be fun to be neighbors. Imagine the potluck suppers we could all have! As long as Ninja kept her pants in order (I just found that thread yesterday and DIED LAUGHING and finally understood the comments about the1much's backside or lack thereof - you're a hoot as well skand!) I'm sure we'd have a grand ol' time!

Last night I sifted through the freezer and found some imported English pies (Beef & Onion and Steak & Kidney) and served them with some HP Sauce and green beans. Hubby and I split a Guinness.

Kids had milk.

I'm not cooking tonight. Hubby is going to a local Mexican place and picking up some tamales. Yum.

tonight it will be scalloped potatoes (with cheddar, what do you call those?) and smoked sausage. Im so thankful for the little general store down the road, forgot canned milk at the store last night. I think its still sleeting now with about 5 inches on the ground, feels like a peach cheesecake night
