Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

OK it's the 4th of July.

I made mozzarella sliders served with sliced tomatoes, potato salad, macaroni salad, cucumber salad and baked beans.

We had Chinese take out, and watched the Lego movie on DVD.
I waffled all day about Chinese food on an American holiday.
(But not a Belgium waffle because that would have been really wrong).

Peanut butter is the only really true American food anyway isn't it? I could have just handed everyone spoons and said. 'dig in.'

yesterday i made pork stir fry. tonight will be brats, because i feel lazy today. lol.

Chicken and rice, my I don't feel like cooking meal. I almost always have chicken cooked and shredded in the fridge for easy lunch/dinners during the week. Sautéed some onions in butter, added a bit of Better than bullion since I used my stock earlier this week, poured water into that to boil then added my rice. Hard boiled a few eggs, chopped em, added those and the chicken to the rice. Yum.

yesterday was pizza. tonight will be pork chops and some kind of veggies.

we love eggs made the mexican way called Huevos Rancheros ....lol.... my parrot & I share some at lunch time most days,I was looking for mostly egg recipes since we never kill & eat our birds , soooo what is every ones favorite egg recipes...??

I haven't had fried cubed steak in a long time.

Tonight I got taken out for my birthday - tastes so much better when someone else pays.

On Thursday my daughter and her family are buying me supper. Life is good.
