Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

My mom actually assigned my older sisters a meal a week while they were teenagers. By the time I got old enough, she declared she was tired of eating passive aggressive food and didn't care if the rest of us ever learned to cook

. I didn't know much when I got married, but learned as I desired and now am a pretty darn good family cook. My eldest sister is also a good cook, my next eldest sister and my brother live on mac-n-cheese and take out.
 
Passive agressive food.
Everthing falls into place now.
I now understand the perpetual pot of chili that mom fed us for months on end. I kid not. She would add a can of tomatoes, or a can of beans each night... for months.

Although, I refuse to use canned for food that very reason.

I make my chili, but it has real food in it.

Grilled cheese sam'iches are my go to 'forgot to thaw anything' dinner.

I might really need a minion. I want a cute twinkie minion.
 
roasted pork tenderloin and sweet potatoes last night.
we had a late lunch at Applebee's so I am going to make a small pot of potato soup and we can eat whenever we are hungry.
smoked trout and salmon in the fridge if DH needs more.
