We're probably having the lasagna tonight ..and I'll make the Chowder for me (DH isn't fond of salmon). I could just make the Chowder without the salmon and then do goat cheese, smoked salmon and chives wraps... yummm..

It's egg night here too! I'm still getting 6-8 eggs daily from my 10 girls.

I made a bacon, mushroom and swiss cheese quiche, steamed broccoli spears and plain muffins.

I've been so busy here that I ahven't even thought about dinner. Besides we don't have much left in the house right now. With DH barely working it's hard to get any groceries. But GOOD NEWS!!!! I got an email from my lawyer and he sent out my settlement check a couple of days ago!!!! Hopefully it's in the mailbox today!!

That means I will be able to do a months worth of shopping. That's how we typically shop, with DH stopping weekly at vons for things that you can't stock up on or sams doesn't carry. Our month shopping trip actually lasts about three months because I overbuy. The last time we did our month shopping was in Aug! so I am out of almost everything, even my spices! Which I don't run out of.

We'll have sausages and rice or mac n chees-icky boxed, or frz pizza roll ups. We had leftover/smorgasborg last night. We all have full physicals tomorrow afternoon so I need a quick meal tomorrow night.

Any votes on my dinner tonight?

Shepards pie tomorrow

First layer is hamburger fried up with onions and spices
Next a layer of cream corn
Then layer of mashed potatoes (mashed with sour cream cream cheese and a little garlic powder
Then a layer of cheese

Baked in oven till warmed thru


Today scrambled cheesy eggs.

we are having red beans and rice with sausage and saute'd onions and peppers, baked in the oven and covered with cheese.

The creamy chicken noodle dish I made last night actually turned out really good!! I hope I remember how to do it again in the future.

HappyHen, Knee is doing OK, getting better everyday would be done if it would stop bleeding LOL.

But I am taking it easy and just hanging with the 10 pups I have here. I socialize pups and have 2 litters of 5 each, PomChi's and Shelties. They are too cute they will be ready to leave in 2 and 3 weeks, will be glad to have them in good homes but sad to see them leave as well LOL. Oh well I usally get a new litter fairly fast. It is great therpy for cronic pain, helps with my fibro, aruther and nerve damage. But I tell ya nothing is helping this week at 7pm tonight we were already -27 with the wind chill here.
