Unexpected trip to the veterinarian's so tonight was YOYO. I had fried kielbasa sandwich, lemon pickles, and macaroni salad, and the Princess had a ham salad sandwich and macaroni salad. She bought a fruit cake today so that was dessert.

All is good. Dani, our 8 year old golden retriever developed a major hotspot. Generally I can handle this sort of situation, but meds that I don't have were necessary. Today she is greatly improved and leaving it alone.

Yesterday was a simple pork roast in the crockpot with onions and carrots.

Tonight will be tamale pie. I'll do a taco salad for the non-carber, and I'm also thinking some potato soup is in the near future. I'll figure some lower-carb chowder for the Honey, but I love potato and corn chowder!
