Aneesa - I'm glad your hand is feeling better! Please continue to keep an eye one it and make sure to keep it clean. As you know, animal bites can infect quickly.

Another meatless Friday during Lent, so tonight it was French toast (using yesterday's leftover Challah bread) and sauteed spiced apples.

Thanks ..ladies... and yes, I keep my hands "too clean" dealing with rescues and various animals in and out of quarantine. I am a germ phobe! LOL Sadly, the little chica that bit me passed on some time this morning ..so I will be trying to find an open place in my garden in awhile

Good thing the effort of rescue is so rewarding and full of blessings ..otherwise, the sad days would overcome me. Rest easy, Tia mo'Mia...

I may pull out the grill and give it a season breaker event, today .. I could use a change in the grinding routine

Bless you for having such a kind heart. You have saved so many and given them a great life. Keep up the good work.

DH made spaghetti last night. He is making his famous Tomato soup for lunch and BBQ burgers for supper.

I know! It really sounds like he is spoiling me! Turns out the infection I thought was gone isn't.

I am on my third round of antibiotics(been doctoring since the third of march!) I am on medicine for the nausea and another for the problem that usually comes with nausea

! Then there is that thing that most of us lucky women get while on antibiotics for a month! So another pill for that too!

Yesterday for the 4th DR visit DH went with me. The DR said its imperative that she gets a lot of rest and fluids. Well beings he heard him say that he is waiting on me alot!! Bless him!!

just took the turkey out of the oven, the legs are so big the lid barely fits on. I guess Im off to the store for some more fixings. End of the month and food is low.

. DH just told DS that when he goes back to work he is in charge of making sure Mom gets rest and fluids. DS says "OK But do I really have to make the juice for her!!? "

ams Turkey sounds so good! I think I have one in the deep freeze in the shop. I hope so!

SHRIMP WAS buy 1 get two so we had boiled shrimp, corn on the cob and fresh aspargus... hope that did not run up Dh's blood sugars.
