Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Parson's Wife :

I'm working on chicken salad for supper...

I saw some chicken salad at Costco that had dried cranberries and pecans in it. It sure looked yummy.

We had a very late lunch with my homemade Turkey Clubs and stuffed taters with cheese, broccoli and salsa...

...I'm making up a quick dinner of fried cabbage to go with the Adobo chicken and rice ..and he'll eat again when he gets home from school...

Pulled half of the summer out of the freezer: butter beans, field peas, corn on the cob, and peaches into a cobbler (which we also call a "circular peach breakfast bar.") Sauteed a head of cabbage and added a pan of hot cornbread. It was an April visitation to the July garden!

We had sausage dogs and chili cheese fries. I baked an apple crumb pie and topped it with vanilla ice cream.

Yes!! I agree. Welcome.

Last night was homemade supreme pizza. Tonight is BBQ pulled pork sandwiches on homemade buns and a green salad. I am trying my hand at homemade BBQ sauce. It smells good simmering away. I need to go give it a taste.

I hope everyone is feeling great today!! Happy Friday!~!!!

Hoping to make turkey enchiladas and spanish rice for supper if youngest son is in a good mood to leave me alone to cook
