I actually like KFC every now and then. Our local KFC ended up closing as they were unable to fill orders properly. Seriously, they were the epitome of dumb. All of our other local fast food places hire Hispanics (the same folks have been there for years) and do a dependable popular business.

Grand daughters have arrived from Annapolis. Younger will 'quarantine' here for 2 weeks before returning to college at Syracuse. Older will stay 3 or 4 days and then return home and eventually to college in Maryland.

Tonight it will be 'manwiches', mac and cheese, and Caesar salad.

I made a white stew with all kinds of stuff but tri tip but in pieces .. potato ...tomatillo 10 blended .. green onion.. jalapeno.. salt, pepper, dill, parsley.. cellery seed and basil made a gravy with half and half a bit of cornstarch

Tonight I served Caprese salads followed by manicotti topped with mozzarella along with Italian bread slathered with Kerry Gold Irish butter. Everything was eaten - no left overs.
