Did we get moved from Social to Games, Jokes and fun? I subscribe to this thread, so I hadn't even noticed. That's OK, as long as we know where to find it.

It was a busy day. We worked in the church garden today, taking out most of the summer plantings and turning and prepping soil for a winter garden (we can do that here in So. Cal). We still have more work to do, but we made some great headway. Then, it was church this evening. So, in the break between the garden work and the church service, we had some fast food. We provided the snack after church, so I suppose that was technically our supper. Odd, but it worked.

Tomorrow should be leftovers from the Great Steak-Fest. I'm thinking that'll be the last of it. Updates tomorrow.

Last nite it was a rich and thick, all veggie soup including something here called courgettes which look like miniature zuchinnis and of course all the usual, potatoes, carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, celery yellow and red peppers, etc. etc. etc. in a thick chicken stock AND some wonderful blue corn meal corn bread with green chiles in it.
