Hey guys! Any idea whether this little beauty is a pullet or cockerel? It’s about 8-9 weeks old

We need a full body photo. We need to be able to see the tail, hackle, and saddle feathers. However based on the comb, I would say pullet for now.

It's a Light Brahma. They can be very slow to develop, often not reliably sexable till about 14 or 15 weeks of age.

OR longer if there are a lot of roo's in the mix. At least in my experience. BUT other then having "drag chickens" I love my brahma's just wish they were a little more "cost effective"

Hey,

looks like a nice looking light Brahma pullet. Although I agree, still too young to tell for the particular breed. My Buff crosses took six months to tell. But how she's turning out, I'd say pullet. Goodnight, God bless.

hopefully a pullet! She’s the only light brahma I have and I’m praying for a hen!
