I truly don’t know what is going on. Every year she molts, has some crop problems, looks like she is on deaths freaking doorstep, then bounces back after she finished molting. This year she molted, her crop stopped up like normal, I expected it this year and didn’t panic like the other two years before. Her crop cleared up and she is almost finished molting, okay good. Thought nothing of it. Two weeks have gone by and she has gotten worse and worse and worse. She doesn’t come up to me when I am by the door and chooses to sulk on a roost. She hardly leaves that roost and when she does, she walks and is super wobbly. She has fallen on her side and used her wings to reright herself on multiple occasions. She is also incredibly skinny.

Almost 3 years old (in march). No roosters. 20% flock raiser. Has had known reproductive issues in past (egg yolks were wonky and gross looking. She doesnt lay more than 10 eggs a year.)

Photo of her poo attached and of her right now. I brought her inside as it is getting colder and she doesn’t have enough energy to waste for warming herself. The towel around her is to keep her from flopping to the side.

It sounds like she has been having a really hard molt. Because she never lays very well, she may have a reproductive disorder. That or the molt could lead to a slow crop, weight loss, and poor appetite. I would offer some wet chicken feed as her primary diet, and give the egg or tuna when she won’t eat. A little vitamin B complex daily might give her a boost while she is getting her strength back. Maybe Wyorp Rock will have more suggestions.

She passed last night. She wouldnt eat or drink yesterday at all and she could hardly walk anymore I think due to just no energy and her organs shutting down. Thank you for your help though. She had other internal issues and was just a very weird (genetically and not) bird.
