Hey everyone,
I’m very new to chickens, I first got into them about 2-3 months ago when I moved in with my boyfriend. He already had a bunch and I’ve just been learning as I go! I’m always open to advice. We have 4 African Geese, 5 ducks, about 30 chickens and 4 roosters! I’ve got a lot of mystery chickens, RIRs, Cochins, a Silkie, and a few neat crosses.
Whenever I need advice about chickens, this website is usually the first hit on google and has helped me a lot! I started hatching eggs a few weeks ago and a post on this site helped me save one of my baby chicks. I am so grateful for this forum and the members

I have been around animals my entire life, mostly horses but naturally cats and dogs too. I currently own 4 horses (one is pretty sure he’s a hen though), 4 dogs, a ball python and some fish.
I co-own a trucking company where I drive and also do some secretary work. I love my job especially because I often get to work from home!

Pictured is one of my newer hens, she came with a chicken coop I got on Facebook that came with “some chickens” (they turned out to be show birds!) Anyone know what breed she is? Thanks!

Hi, it's nice to have you here! Thanks for the interesting intro and photo. I'm not the best at chicken identities but your girl may be a Speckled Sussex (others better at this will be along to help).
