I am not sure how you all measure your weight but here in the UK we do stones and pounds. 14 pounds to one stone. I started at weightwatchers in August to help my 19 year old daughter lose some weight. She is lovely but was not happy after our holiday in the South of France and I went to keep her company. When I weighed I decided I needed to lose a stone..........and today I have lost it!!!
I am so pleased - of course the leader wants me to lose more but I know what is right for me and this is it. I will be careful and weigh myself weekly but I am not going to the meetings anymore.

Hey, that is great!! I have been doing Weight Watchers since the middle of May and I have lost a little over 31 lbs! Its a wonderful program and I am glad you had great results. I hope your daughter is able to reach her goal too! The Weight Watchers website has some awesome message boards that provide a lot of info and support too.

Wow - well done, that makes my announcement seem a bit pathetic!! My daughter will take a bit longer - she is a student and back in uni so is finding it hard to follow the programme.

What happened to metric?

Congrat's!

Metric seemed to avoid people weighing for some reason - not sure why!!

November 1st will be anniversary of starting to lose weight. I've lost over 50 pounds! Congrats and I hope your daughter is doing well too.

Darn it, and I gained a stone this year. But i am not bothering to loose it , i kind of like the fuller look.Nothing wrong with a size 8-10
