I'd love to see some current pics of your keets and how they are feathering out... post some when you have time, pleeeeeeeeeeease?

Ok, I'll try to get some soon. I have been on crutches for a few weeks. As soon as I get a little more mobile, I'll post some pics. All 18 are doing well, although I did have a scare when one of them got it's leg hung up in the handle on the feeder. Poor guy was hanging upside down by his foot. Leg was swollen for a couple of days, but now it's fine. Current hatch is coming along good two. 17 good developing eggs out of the 21 or 22 that I found. I'll be happy when they hatch. I wonder if my hen has started a new clutch or not. It's been high 80's -mid 90's for several weeks here with no rain. I'd like to get three clutches hatched this season if I can.

Oh man, crutches, what a pain. Hurry up n heal! Bad time of year to have that goin' on, always so much to do on a ranch or farm.

That's excellent, another 17 eggs! Good to read your first batch of babies is doing well, I can't wait to see em

I'd be willing to bet your Hen has started a new clutch in a shady spot somewhere. (At least with my Hens) they are egg layin' egg broodin' machines during the whole breeding season, or at least until it gets to be 100 degrees and stays that hot for a while.

Good luck, hope you find more eggs!
