FOR NEWBIES: WHY YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THE HECK THIS THREAD IS ABOUT OR WHAT ITS PURPOSE IS

For what it's worth, I have been on BYC for many months, but I don't understand a word of this thread (potty talk notwithstanding). I don't know why someone would sign on as a moderator or admin when they are not. I like a whimsical thread as much as anyone, but why the weird naming?

Because it's BYC. People here aren't normal, but God help me, I love every single one of y'all! ... most of the time.

And besides the fact nobody here is in their right mind, they started the thread because they can... plus things have been dead lately... they were bored and decided to stir something interesting up? That's all I can come up with and it's good enough for me. I've been in need of some comical relief.
