Hello, and welcome! Glad that you joined! Good luck with your store "free-range" chicken's. Do you have them trained to not poop in the isle's or on the merchandise?

Well..... funny you ask. They actually don’t don’t get on the merchandise and I have a pretty good team that helps clean up their mess. BUUUUUUUUT I do have my eyes set on some diapers for them This is actually the 4th year of having inside birds.

Hahahaha well we did let her venture up there and she decided that she was going to eat all the dog treats. So now she is grounded off the front end.

P.S. how do you deal with customers bringing there dogs in the store with your free ranging greeters as they amaze and dazzle the folks?

I have been work there for over 5 years now and love it.
Now as of the dogs. Their coop is pretty central in back corner of the store right smack in the intersection. So Chanti being the good boy he is will actually get his girls back home before any dogs come down. And I have people is surrounding areas that are always keeping watch. They truly enjoy having them there and getting to pick them up and love on them anytime they want.

There really isn’t the customer harassing the birds it’s really the other way around. They actually have grown up there. So they don’t know any difference than people coming and going. Now they harass people because we also offer free popcorn and coffee and well what do you think they want???? So I leave a bowl with goodies that they can have that customers are able to feed beside popcorn.
