Hello. So excited to find this group of such friendly and smart peeps. I have just under 48 hours of chick experience but have been stalking this group and other online places for as much info as possible.

We are the proud owners of 4 dixie rainbow 2 rhoade island reds and 2 isa browns... All girls and 5-6 days old!

Our growing zoo/farm includes 2 dogs both boxer pit mix. A double yellow headed amazon. A beta. Small catfish and african dwarf frogs. And a black california king snake. Oh and a goat who is about to give birth. Add in the 3 human kids and lots of nieces and nephees that visit often and its never a dull moment!

Super excited to start this crazy chick adventure!

BYC has Topic of the Week discussions which I have found to be a great resource, informative and sometimes entertaining; so definitely worth checking out.

Your babies are adorable! If you would like to share more Pictures and Stories of them and/or other critters, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
