Just introducing myself. I'm pretty new to a rural setting, though my husband grew up out at the home we live in now. We have the best of both worlds as we are only about a 15 minute drive to the city anyway but we have 3 acres so that gives us room to play. We have been hard at work getting a coop ready so that we can get some layers. We will have to insulate our coop as we plan to keep our birds through the winter and it gets awfully cold here. Anyway, I'm looking forward to being around here, it looks like a great resource.
