Hi my name is Liz and...
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I've had or raised chickens since I was a child. As a child I remember having Barred Rocks. As an adult I've raised Barred Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, and Americanas. I currently have Black Jersey Giants.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
5 Hens & 1 Roo
(3) What breeds do you have?
Jersey Giants only right now
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Farm fresh eggs
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like to ride horses, scuba dive, travel internationally, drink wine or whiskey and hang out with friends. I also have the gift to GAB...talk, talk, talk
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I also have dairy goats, 2 horses, 3 pot belly pigs, a few dogs & cats and a an Albino Corn Snake
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I actually was looking for some ideas to build a new chicken coop on Pinetrest and was directed to your site.
