Welcome to BYC. I thought she was a Rouen by her size and Isaac confirmed it. They look like mallards on steroids -

She is a Rouen, not a Mallard. How does her keel bone feel? She looks OK, to me.

Everything is great she is just really fat! She came to us last year as ducklings. The people who bought her had a baby chick that had hatched and when they went to the feed store they bought 3 ducklings to keep the one chick company. We were just supposed to babysit. They ended up here for several weeks and went back to their original owner for a couple months and then when they were going on vacation they brought the 2 ducks which were 7 months old back to me to watch... they have been here ever since. Free run of my backyard/built in swimming pool. We lost our drake last thursday to a raccoon attack. It was extremely traumatic and so devastating. We loved our Gunner the Runner very much. He lived through the attack but his beak was almost completely destroyed so we had to put him to sleep. I have already picked up a 3 month old drake that i was told is a cayuga welsh harlequin cross so that my Mallory girl had some companionship. She has already taken to him. So now i have my 2 ducks and 3 chickens... one rhode island red one silkie and one wyandotte.
