Hey there! New guy from the PNW. I'm still young but raised chickens all my life. I love their fresh breakfast food. I've had most of the major breeds of chicks including but not limited to Rhode island reds, Americanas, cornish, bantams and a few others. Currently have a couple dozen chickens as I just bought my first home. Half of them are still chicks and the other half are big enough to be out in their new chicken run, with a couple ducks as well. Things have been going well. But recently have had a predator steal a couple chickens. Luckily I have a few tricks up my sleeve

CONGRATULATIONS on the purchase of your New Home. How exciting!!!!
You better trap/Rid that predator quickly. How dare it take something that doesnt belong to him.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Hopefully one of those tricks is a predator proof coop and run with maybe a few strands of hot wires around the works or an electrified pen. Works wonders for me.
Congratulations on your new home!!
