Hi! I’m new here and loving have a tiny flock of 4, sharing responsibilities with our youngest daughter of 16.
We got our babies in March and they grew so fast!
We’re getting eggs now too! About 3 a day, with a skip here & there.
They’re all different and beautiful!
A white with black feather-footed Brahma,
An Easter Egger,
A cinnamon queen,
And a silver laced Wyandotte.

Is it common for the Easter Egger to lay in the run vs the nesting box?
I read another owners’ EE does this too!!??!!
Favorite aspects of raising by chickens?…Social, very social! And love their interest in you when you come with treats! Can’t beat the eggs either!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? …Our cats, doing stuff with our kids, sewing, watching sunsets!

A friend told me about BYC along time ago, and whenever I have a question, BYC always has good answers.

I finally joined this awesome community so I could ask my own questions as well, (now that we are real chicken owners!).
Thanks for asking! 😊🤣

And We’re in Washington state.

Hello, and welcome to BYC! :frow

How long has your EE been laying?
She may need time to adjust into laying in the nesting boxes, if she's just recently started laying.
Just a few weeks
