Hello all,
Thank you for letting me join the group.
I bought my first 7 chicks and 36 eggs three weeks ago. Since then, I have lost three chicks, 8 eggs, and added 17 chicks to my flock today. I am going into day 20 of my incubation.
I have Ayem Cemani, which is what drew me to wanting chickens, laced blue belles, marans, cream legbars, blue americanas, splash americanas, brahmas, and one deathlayer. I may have gotten a bit over zealous. However, it keeps me busy an gives me something that I enjoy doing. Loving animals. On top of all my feathery babies, I have 2 dogs, five cats, two goats, and a son. Needless to say it’s a full house here.

I am a severe over pre planner. I took into account deaths and disappearances. I am currently trying to figure out how I am gonna divide up the flock by certain breeds. And making sure that my coops will be sufficient enough for all of them.

This is Stubby, my barred Plymouth Rock rooster I’ve had for almost two years, raised with my girl, next, Pancake, my Cornish Cross that ACTUALLY lived for almost two years!
