Hey there got our power back here too & battening the hatches for Ike; our evacuee from Lake Charles will most likely be back--should've just kept the sheets on the bed I guess!
lost the barn but we were talking about tearing it down & rebuilding just part of it anyway, so Mother Nature did us a favor there, less work on our part to do now.
Chicks rode it out great!-- we strapped down our chicken tractor w/truck tiedown straps, also our storage building & greenhouse & all came through w/flying colors; lost 1 panel off the greenhouse, no big deal.
All over, counting our blessings. Hopefully Ike will be the last for this year.
