I have 9week old rir and they are loosing there feathers can chickens get flees have barn cats with flees chickens are loosing feathers look bad can you help.

Yes, chickens can get fleas, although not all that common. 9 week olds are going to still be molting out their feathers. So expect some feather loss until they are about 4 months or more old. Take a good luck at your birds to see if there are fleas on your birds. As with dogs or cats, you should be able to see flea poop on the skin of the birds. Look behind the neck, under the wings and around the vent area. These are areas that are hard to reach for your birds.

If they do have fleas, you may want to clear the barn cats out of there and get your birds cleaned up with some mite or other bug spray for poultry.

X2 on TwoCrows, chickens can get fleas. But, I wouldn't suspect fleas first. Molting is a more likely cause. Mites are another possiblity- they are the most common chicken external parasite.
