Hey!!

I'm near Mobile Alabama and I am looking for about 6 dozen Rhode Island Red Eggs. My mom, my friend, and myself want to raise some. I have a GQF 1202 so I can handle alot at once. If anybody can help me holler back!!

Last year I contemplated owning some RIRs, but I wanted some really nice ones. Hatchery chicks, great as they are, just wasn't what I wanted, but instead I wanted those gorgous deep mahagony reds with black tails that just left you mesmorized with their looks.

Everyone on BYC always talked about a flock owned by Julie, bamachicken. Well, when I meet her at a Show in Oct. she no longer had them but explained that a friend down the road did but was not quite ready to sell yet. I waited so patiently for the time to come and sure enough taterschickens finally listed those babies earlier this year. Since that time I had the opportunity to not only hatch from her but also see the flock. I am very, very proud I didn't settle for less.

Imogene, taterschickens is not but a Sunday drive from you. She lives outside of Dothan and if she doesn't have enough there is another lady in her community that also has them from the same flock. I think her name was Shelia, I am hatching two dozen from her also at the current time. Pick-up on that many eggs should save you a ton in shipping.

Between those two ladies, I don't think that you would have any problems getting a nice start. Also, Shelia just last week had day old chicks for sale.
