Thanks,dear. After Bob died, I waited a year, and then took in my mother who has Alzheimer's. I kept her for a couple of years. We got along better than ever, except for the constant running away, looking for "Daddy's house." When she started losing balance, and doing dangerous things, I realized that I would never be able to leave her side to mow grass or anything, and that if something happened to me, she'd be wandering down the road alone. So put her in a facility where I can visit daily and supplement diet, etc. Just got back from sitting on porch rockers with her, eating veggie-venison soup.So sorry for your loss. Please take enough time to heal, let the world turn without you for a few days.![]()
