Out family has decided to start our own little farm. We currently have 6 white plymouth rock chicks that our daughter bought with her birthday money. I built a quick little brooder box 4'x18"x18" for them to stay in until they get a bit bigger. We have a starter crop of a few veggies in the works as well. We all love being outdoors, and nothing beats being able to provide for yourselves. Plus, a little chore work never hurts a pair of growing kids. Looking forward to the wealth of information on this site. We are all new to the chicken thing, so it's definitely a learn as we go type deal.
