Hey yarn people i have a question!!!

I have some ugly off white acrylic yarn i got for free that i would like to dye.
Can i use kool aid.? what I've read so far says no. Buts it ugly enough i might try anyway. What do you suggest?

If it's ugly, then you don't have much to lose? At worst, wash the Kool Aid out and try something else... food coloring?

I think it'd be like when you color your hair with the stuff...it gets wet...it bleeds...all over everything

I think that the problem with trying to dye acrylic yarn is that the yarn doesnt absorb the color because it is synthetic.

But, why not try it anyway?
