Hi, I'm new to chickens this year. We did a bunch of research for over a year before we bought chickens. We went with egg layers and meat birds.

I have 5 kids, one foster child, my brother, my little sister, her baby, my husband and me in my family. It gets hectic sometimes. I joined this group because I used this forum a lot while researching chickens.

Glad you could join the flock! Oh wow that sure does sound you have a very busy household there! I'm sure you must be rushed of your feet. Chicken TV sure is great for a bit of relaxing time, hope you are able to do that with your birds.

Welcome to BYC. The great thing is you will know where your eggs and meat(chicken) comes from and how it was raised.
