I'm a new chicken mom but I've had many fur & feather babies (& some with scales) over the yrs. My husband & I r animal lovers & we r thrilled to add chickens to the home. We have just started our flock with 3 chicks (was 4 but 1 didn't make it ) from a farm on other side of town. We have 1 silkie, 1 crested & 1 little brown 1 we call lil sis (as she looks like the other ones sister). We also have a cat & 2 dogs. A jack russel & a chihuahua. children r all grown & have 13 grandchildren i cant think of anything else rite now so I'll just say.... Thx & Hope u have a great day (*_*)

I seem to be having problems posting so I'm gonna make this fast. Sry. Fuzzy Foot has had a limp for 2 days now. We give her Epson salts baths & searched her all over & all we find is red swollen hock joint. Yesterday the sweeping went into her foot as well. could a ingrown feather (like our hair) b causin a limp ?? Or maby its just a scratch from Einstein ??

Thx. We can't find a bumble or anything else. I've done sooo much research the last couple days I think my brains fried now !! Lol
