HHD incubator driving me insane.

I have 10 more eggs to try to hatch in this 12 egg incubator. I’ve calibrated two thermometers, the incubator is set as warm as it will run (39.5C!), and both my thermometers are going between 97-99. It doesn’t seem to matter if the heat comes on or not, it constantly gets warmer and then cooler in there. I have them sitting at egg level. I think I’m going to give up on this crappy thing and go to the farm supply for a different one tomorrow (I ordered this off amazon before doing research). I don’t really want to wait for another one to ship, so I’m just thinking pretty much anything has got to be better than this one. I’m so frustrated!!!!

If the temperature is consistently between 97-99 then you shouldn't have a problem at all hatching eggs. Only problem you should worry about is if that incubator spikes in hot temperature, anyway, I don't see a problem here....... just keep an eye on it and save yourself some money.

I gave mine away. Stupid thing wouldnt hold temperature and kept beeping if the humiditygot below 50%.

I couldn't get mine to work either. I think I'm going to bin it. There is a Youtube video I searched up of one guy fixing his but his take of HHD was Headache, Headache and Death.

I’m done with it. The heat will not go above 97/98. I just had a 20% hatch rate come out of it, I’m not doing that again. Going to the store tomorrow to get a new one.
