Bought from a lovely older couple who had several of these. They called them spangled but didn't mention a breed, they all looked the same with white earlobes and mottling but some had rose combs and these had single combs. I picked these out because they're exactly like the hen I already have. Not sure what kind they are, I'm thinking rose comb bantam but with single combs I'm unsure. Help would be greatly appreciated!

I did a google image search and this is what I came up with: https://purelypoultry.com/product/m...istory,,one of the breed's most iconic traits.

My guess is that they are either a project or a sport of the White-Faced Black Spanish Bantam. The pullet has the classic white face and while the cockerel's is red, he has the classic white earlobes. Both have the proper comb. They may also be cross between the WFB Spanish bantam and a single-combed splash or possibly a silver Sebright. Whatever they are, they are beautiful little birds!
