Hi I’m Bek from Adelaide, Australia 
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I’ve had chickens for over 15 years now. My current oldest chook, which I hatched in a incubator I build myself, is now around 9 years old
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 9 plus two ducks
(3) What breeds do you have? 2 x polish (one frizzle) specked Sussex (my oldest girl) Wyandotte, 2 x Indian runners, 2x pekins & 3 x D’uccle
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I just love chooks, I don’t even eat eggs
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I do a lot of gardening, growing fruit & veg and love diy stuff
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have a five year old son, 4 cats, 2 dogs, a guinea pig and multiple fish
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
