Hi again! Asking info on Rural King chicks... already bought them, but not sure breed is correct

I had a terrible hatch a week ago. 21 eggs. 4 hatched. 3 lived, but 1 of the three is super small, literally 1/2 the size of the others.

Sooo rather than try to hatch again, I went to Rural King with my kids to see what they had.

I really wanted barred rock pullets, but they didn't have any. They did have some labeled Ameraucanas, and I got 6 of them, but aren't those rare?

Anyway, these are also supposed to be pullets, too, so hopefully even if they got breed wrong they got the gender right.

What do you all think? Easter Eggers or Ameraucanas?

If they're not from a breeder specifically specializing in purebred Ameraucanas they're Easter Eggers, those should grow up to be pretty birds : D Too young to sex but looks like you got a fun color selection!

Most likely Easter Eggers. I got some from there too Labeled as Americaunas

I picked up 4 Ameraucanas a couple of weeks ago from Tractor Supply and they look very close to the picks posted by the OP. I don't really care if they are Easter eggers or Ameraucanas. As long as they don't lay white or brown eggs my grand daughter will be happy...lol.

They are easter eggers. I also got a selection of "americaunas" from tsc. Only 8 weeks so I dont know what color eggs they will have. I did get a group of assorted pullets. They all were easter eggers and beautiful. Just got my first green egg!!

Easter eggers. They are going to have awesome beards!!! So cute!!
