Another question, I have a egg in the egg turner that has pipped, should I take it out and lay it down on the bottom of the incubator?
If the turner is off you can leave it in. I sometimes leave them to hatch in the turner. Or you can take it out and put it pip side up. Totally up to you.

I wouldn't open the bator, as long as the eggs are not turning. Too much risk of shrink wrapping. They can stay in the incubator up to 3 days after hatching. While I don't usually leave them all in there for the full 3 days, I do try to leave them in for at least 24 hours, after the first one has emerged from the shell. Some of it depends on how active the new chicks are. I keep my incubator in an almost dark area. This helps reduce their activity, so they don't jostle the other eggs too badly.
