Isn't it so neat to wait for that first egg? I checked everyday and would feel so excited then bummed when I hadn't happened yet. My Barred rocks are due anytime to start, one if them actually layer her first egg monday, it was so very tiny and adorable. Lol!
I'm excited for you to get your first egg.

Yes also I agree with
@Jntnrmn my new flock has been laying for a week and I just went out and checked and there was a egg and I still was super excited it is always great to see the egg especially the first time. I just hope that your first egg isn't broke like mine. Make sure you have a lot of bedding to protect the egg.
