Hi there to all you Chicken lovers.....
...i think i'm a little nervous as i know i'm probablly talking to like thousands of people so here goes...
I've had a love affair with animals since i was born, i love them all even snakes...no spiders though..yuck....
I got my verry first batch of Chickens ever!!! 3 weeks ago...14 to be exact...7 Barred rock Hens, and 7 Orpingtons.
I kept the little Guys in my Back Bedroom for the entire 3 weeks, in a Cardboard Brooder box.
My Husband has Built me a Chicken Mansion, thats what my friends and family call it...heehee.
My Husband Started the project over a year ago...so..ive been waiting quite a wile for my chicks.
we moved the chicks into thier new home just this past weekend.
i lost one of the chicks the next morning....
i was to say the least devistated...sobing crying...i was like jeez..come on.
So..today i still have 13, and all the little girls are doing well it seems.
i also have 2 large Dogs, a GermanShepherd named Zeus, and a Black Lab, named Lulabelle.
I have been married for 7 years to a wonderful man, who is in the CoastGuard and will soon be Deployed....not so wonderful, but what to ya do, ya just do.
I love living in the Country and the Country life...self preservation and all that, canning gardening.
i love Crafts, Leather, bead work.Baking...Landscaping....
I take care of Seniors for a living, and i work privatley for my self, and love my job.
I found you guys on the web, glad i did, as i am looking forward to meeting like minded people.
