I am in northern central Bulgaria, currently cold and winter.
I have 9 free ranging chickens 3x giant brahmas hens I x rooster, 3 hens and a seabright rooster (minature) and a serama hen. they all get on great and range my 2500 sq metre garden.

My brahma hens are 9 months old and are just laying for the first time about two weeks ago, the eggs have a light yellow color spot within the dark gold yolk any ideas?
I have photos of the chickens and the eggs and will post them later.
many thanks in advance.

Hello there and welcome to BYC! :frow

Pretty rooster! :love Looks like you have a fertile egg there, the rooster is doing what roosters do! :) Broodies and their chicks are always fun to keep.

Make yourself at home here and welcome to our community! :)
