Hello all, from TheChickenGirl16!
I’ve been wanting to do this for some time now, and am finally getting around to it!

Time is precious around here, so I can give no guarantees on how often I can post, but will try to make it as often as possible!

I would love to here from y’all too!

I will start with a little introduction to myself:

I live in East Tennessee.
I currently have 25 hens, 3 roosters, and 9 pullets.
I also have 2 goats, (one of which, is expecting).
And am getting 2 cows in January!

Needless to say, my life is pretty hectic!
I am a busy farmer, an avid gardener and happy chicken tender.
And amidst all of this, we are completely renovating our home, carving our territory on 11 acres, and very busy with a family of 12.

I am the second of 10 children, with ages ranging from 19yrs to 1yo.

I love the outdoors, nature, and creation!
I am also a hatch-a-holic (mainly using broodies, but just getting into incubators)!

When I’m not busy babysitting, cleaning, cooking, or working on the house, I enjoy reading, drawing, baking, and spending time with my feathered friends!!

A little bit about me and my flock/birds.

My main hobbies:
Photography, baking and selling my baked goods, violin, and hanging out with my birds.

I have a flock of 8 hens and 1 rooster, plan on getting 12 more chickens sometime this winter or spring. Don't know yet since I have to build the coop.

Some of my flock, they are getting over a molt.

I also love my doves! Sadly, all three of my doves came down with a sickness and only one made it thru. Alex ( or Dandie as I like to call him), took about 7-8? different meds/supplements to get him to a recovering point. He is now eating on his own and being more his normal self. Anyway, all my doves touched my heart very much and I miss Smarty and Pichon. Smarty, I trained for photo shoots ( she also loved to take my cookie off my plate), and Pichon, he had a very unique personality.

If you want to see pictures of my doves, pls let me know 🥰

I haven’t found a BLRW. But Wyandottes are my favorite!
