I love the idea of your book and your courage in writing it. I'm a retired journalist and newspaper editor who has toyed with the idea of writing a book. But I always talk myself out of it.

Where have you been visiting in the Hawkeye State? There are BYC members in Iowa -- including yours truly -- who have some experience with ducks. Mine are all Indian runners.

I am in DSM area. I like to stay an hour around DSM usually, but I’ve traveled some to hang out with cows and may do a longer trip to hang out with pigs.
