Hello I live in Wisconsin Dells and have loved my chicken hobby for at least 6 years now. Only once I had a critter take out most of my birds. It was devastating cause I name my birds and loved them dearly and felt so guilty tht someone Some got into my run! I am truly blessed and find my birds to be such a calming hobby MOST OF THE time. I am looking forward to chatting with all of you. How is everyone doing with the new chicken disease? anyone having an issue with it in your own flock? Have a beautiful day

I also name my chickens, (Well, most of them!) and it IS terrible when something gets them.
I also name my chickens, (Well, most of them!) and it IS terrible when something gets them. How many do you have? So far, my flock is disease free. Though, I did have a friend who rescued some ducklings that asked if I could take them, but I couldn't because I didn't want to risk my flcok gettng infected. It was a tough choice! Thankfully 3 of the 4 ducklings survived.
