for the local folks who are interested in locating cool springs on the map... it is kinda between Winston and Statesville, ever ventured to Keaton's Chicken Shack? Well worth the trip....Holly

Know but we are a tent camping lot and I will keep that in mind. Our last trip was to Cliffs of Neuse and we were bummed because due to state budget cutbacks, no boating.

Never been to the cliffs of the neuse river, sounds very nice.... i love the cliffs of linville gorge & shining rock wilderness...good day!
