Hi all. New chicken keeper here.

This is my first time keeping chickens myself, as a small child my family kept chickens until the dredded fox got them.
I brought 3 buff orpington "hens" that turned out to be roos, started crowing on the 2nd morning i had them but was able to return them after a couple of days.
I now have 3 rhode island red hybrids from a laying flock.

I also keep...
2 cats.
Lots of fish.
A wife
three pre teen drama queens.(Daughters).
Thinking about more chickens aswell.

I look forward to picking your brains and hopefully helping others as I learn more myself.

Welcome to BYC. You got hens this time. Be aware that they may take a break from laying until they adjust to their new home. God bless you on the 3 daughters. Love her dearly, but 1 almost drove me nuts.
